Dr Abhyuday Rana is a young and dynamic consultant in the Department of Nephrology and Kidney transplantation Medanta the medicity. He has done his training in Medicine in the prestigious Poona hospital and research centre-Pune and in Nephrology at Medanta the Medicity-Gurugram. He has special interest in the field of kidney transplant and peritoneal dialysis. He holds expertise in performing interventions such as kidney biopsy and HD & PD catheter insertion.
He has authored more than 50 publications in field of transplantation in various reputed India & international journals. He has been recently awarded the prestigious “Young Researcher of the year “ Rekha tanker memorial award in the recently concluded National conference at Kolkata.He is actively involved in research team of the department with keen interest in post transplant infections.He is co investigator in mutiple clinical trials in field of nephrology. He is well trained in managing high risk transplants ( blood group mismatch, HLA mismatch & Retransplant) and rare genetic kidney disease.
